Homemade Vegan Mayo

Mayonnaise is a staple in the Belgian diet and our go-to sauce for Belgian Fries, it is our favorite guilty pleasure.

A homemade vegan version can not be missed.

It is amazing on it’s own, great as a foundation for a creamy dressing, or delicious garnished with herbs and used as a dip, … its uses are unlimited.


Vegan Mayo

  • 1 cup unrefined sunflower oil (220 g) or a neutral vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened soy milk (120 ml)
  • 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Sea salt to taste
  • Optional Black pepper

Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature

Place all ingredients in immersion blender cup

Blend moving the immersion stick up and down until mayo is emulsified.
It only takes a few secondes.




Homemade Vegan Mayo

Citrus Tartar sauce

  • ½ cup Homemade Mayo recipe
  • Zest of one lemon
  • Zest of one lime
  • 1 Tbs Lemon juice
  • 1 Tbs Lime juice
  • 1 Tbs Chives - very fine
  • 1 Tbs Parseley - very fine
  • 1 Tbs Pickles - chopped very fine
  • 1 Tbs Capers
  • Cracked black pepper

Whisk all ingredients together. Feel free to play around with the ingredients.

Basil Aioli

Hot Sauce Mayo

½ cup Homemade Mayo recipe
2 to 3 tbs fermented hot sauce (depending how hot you want it)
